Last weekend I had the good fortune of attending the Big Sur Writing Workshop in Cape Cod sponsored by the renowned Andrea Brown Literary Agency.
If you're not in the know, ABLA's Big Sur Writing Conference is an exclusive workshop for "serious children's book writers" on the cusp of publication. Along with a picturesque setting at the charming Sea Crest Beach Hotel in North Falmouth, the event centers around hands-on editorial breakout sessions with industry giants made up of authors, agents, and editors.
The weekend could not have been more enjoyable! My only regret was not being able to stay and explore the area as Cape Cod and clam pizza 🍕 have always been at the top of my bucket list.
